From The Shadows
I'll
try to keep this brief...
I've been a bit down for
a few years, hitting rock
bottom last year (2002).
After watching Fame
Academy I set up this
site and joined some of
the online FA
communities. My mood has
improved since, and it is
in part because of Nigel
and the FA fans. That
inspired me to write a
poem, called 'To A Soul
So Giving', which in turn
inspired me to write this
'song'. Lizzie :-)Don’t
give up on the world
around you,
there’s a life for
you out there somewhere,
believe in the strength
that’s deep inside
of you,
don’t live your life
in this dark despair.
When you feel your
courage is failing,
look my way and I’ll
be there,
Take
my hand,
let me lift you from the
shadows,
set your spirit free,
Don’t stay there,
all alone in the shadows,
just reach out,
and take a walk with me.
There
is love out there to
surround you,
a place for you to belong
somewhere,
believe in the friend
that’s looking to
find you,
to set you free from your
lifes despair.
