Nigel
is a 30-something rock singing husband
and father of 4 (so far!)
see Profile/Bio for
more detailHe sang in a rock covers
band called New Jersey for 10 years.
After the band went their seperate ways
Nigel started to persue a solo career,
seeking that oh so elusive recording
contract.

When an opportunity
to enter a TV reality talent show came
up, he auditioned and managed to get in.
That show was called Fame
Academy, and was shown on BBC1,
BBC Choice and interactive
digital from October to
December 2002. The show was
a cross between Pop Idol and Big Brother,
with the 'students' having to eat, sleep,
train, study and prepare for a Friday
night live showdown under the 24/7 glare
of TV cameras. Nigel was the sixth
student to be evicted.

Nigel secured some
loyal fans whilst in the Academy who
remain steadfast in their support for
him. Since leaving the Academy Nigel has
been writing and put together a demo of
original tracks, amongst other things,
and also held a charity concert in aid of
funds for his kids school.

Immediately after
that concert he then had to rejoin his
fellow ex-students to rehearse for the
Fame Academy Live Tour 2003, 14 venues in
18 days across the UK in April 2003. The
tour was a big success amongst Fame
Academy fans.

What next?
Hopefully someone in the music
industry will see the light and
sign him to a recording deal. He
has a great voice, is an
accomplished musician (guitar,
drums, etc), and writes his own
songs. A 'here today', 'gone
tomorrow', 'teeny bop',
manufactured singer he is most
definately not! Rock on Nigel !!
