This video
follows David Sneddon as he tries to get
into the Fame Academy, and his journey
through the Academy after the misfortune
of student Naomi Roper having to leave
through illness. The student who got in
by default eventually won the series.
There are
some good clips of David's performances
from the showdowns, aswell as excerts
from an interview with him in his new
luxury apartment.
The VHS
tape also includes 6 full tracks at the
end, one from the final showdown, two
from the busking for Children in Need,
and the other three from acoustic
sessions in the Academy. There is also
the PDP session in which the students had
to dramatise the lyrics from a song,
David and Ainslie did the Beatles 'Hey
Jude'.
Nigel content : I noted down at
least a dozen reasonable shots of Nigel
from this video. The pieces of most
interest to Nigel's fans would be some
before and after footage of the
'football' night out he went on with
David (about half an hour in), the two
busking tracks at the end where Nigel
accompanied David with the guitar, and
right at the end after the PDP piece we
get a good shot of Nigel in 'the bra'!
There is also a small interview with
Nigel about half an hour in, but it's
very brief.
Not much
Nigel here, but may be a worthwhile
purchase for those like me who didn't
record any of the shows!
